Senior .NET Developer

Are you the Microsoft Stack developer who’s always the first to work with the newest versions of Visual Studio and .NET? Do you get excited delivering a global Multi-tenant SaaS product based on the latest standards? Can you check all the boxes when we say “Azure hosted, secure multi-tenant Rest-based CQRS microservices”? And are you passionate about working in the Cloud with a firm rooting in Design Patterns, SOLID and DevOps? Then come and join our young and ambitious team and together with us conquer the SaaS world by storm!

Does this term ring any bell? Great! You’re one step ahead. 😉 Our BHAG, or Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal, is to become a global industry leader in the field of time-/workforcemanagement. That’s the plan at least, and that’s where you come in.

Born out of the experience (read: frustrations) that our founders Wouter and Fred had with regards to time registration, the solution ‘TimeChimp’ was brought into this world. This company first saw the light of day in 2015, and has skyrocketed ever since. Our philosophy is ‘keep it simple’ and we try to incorporate this in our software and organization alike.

How you doin?

Besides watching great tv-shows, you love clean code. That’s why SOLID-design, Security and Scalability are the foundations on which you build on. You get energy from creative solutions, ambitious goals, and working with your like-minded team to achieve those. You pick up the positive vibe easily and have a can-do-mentality of your own. You also have a “Dutch” (read: direct) way of communicating and don’t beat around the bush, because your work is after all a serious business. You know your stuff and can make (technical) decisions which you can explain to others in a clear way. You understand business and can plan & organize your work to realize that business. It goes without saying that working with Visual Studio, VS Code and Azure DevOps are like a walk in the park for you.

Next to writing brilliant code, the process is equally important for you, so Agile and SCRUM are a must for you. And did we mention we ‘do’ DevOps software releases and infrastructure?

Another day in paradise

You will of course start your day with having coffee where you have the choice if you join the TimeChimp early-birds in the office, or just wake up a bit with the (smaller) rest of the team. Or you work from home, whatever floats your boat. After a short stand-up with your team, you can all get to work. You have a quick meeting with the Product Owner and the UX designer to dot the final i’s and cross the final t’s for the feature you’re working on right now. After a revitalizing afternoon stroll, you’re ready to kick some ass on finalizing that feature. It is such an amazing feature, that you quickly prepare a demo presentation so you can show this to the entire team during the Friday afternoon-drinks. Another great week and looking forward to Monday. But first things first: enjoying the weekend!
