What is the name of your company, what exactly do you do, and how many TimeChimp employees and users do you have?
Our company is called Bob Romijnders Architecture + Interior. Our office is located in a beautiful historic building on the Oranjesingel in Nijmegen. With a lot of love for the profession, our team of architects and interior designers creates timeless designs, especially in private (villa) construction.
We have 10 colleagues, 1 of whom also lives in Portugal! He has been with us for a long time but moved to Portugal because of love. He also records his hours in TimeChimp, which certainly makes it easier to also have insight into his work even though he lives so far away. We have a very close-knit team and all went to Porto for a long weekend this year to visit our colleague Joep.
What is your name and position with your employer?
My name is Donna Stok and I am an office manager and the Administrator of our TimeChimp environment. It's funny that I'm the only one who doesn't record my hours in TimeChimp. I think I do the most TimeChimp hours! I work the hours because I create all invoices from TimeChimp. In addition, I provide the right project design so that my colleagues can write their worked hours on the right projects.
Before I started working as Office Manager at Bob Romijnders, I had my own bridal shop in the center of Nijmegen. So a significant switch. But actually, the work is quite similar. In the bridal shop, I also worked with designers/designers, this is a very creative work environment that I really love. Creating something beautiful, unique together is the most fun thing to facilitate.
What are the latest/interesting developments within your organization?
When I started at Bob Romijnders, I worked with 4 other colleagues. Now, after a year and a half, that has doubled and we have another great vacancy. With my assumption within the company, that growth was also possible, and the administration must run smoothly. That is why we have also started using TimeChimp more and more widely. I am glad that TimeChimp can grow with us. No matter how big we get, it's so easy to manage this.
What was the challenge that required a solution like TimeChimp?
When I started at Bob Romijnders, we were already working with TimeChimp; because of my arrival and in view of growth, we started using TimeChimp much more extensively. We invoice, quote but also monitor the hours via the Project Module. This gives us more insight into our activities, planning and hours worked per project.
Why did you choose TimeChimp?
At first glance, TimeChimp seems super simple, because you can switch modules on and off. This provides a lot of overview.
What is the biggest gain you get from using TimeChimp?
We did the invoices for this in excel. Creating your own invoices takes an incredible amount of time, and now with TimeChimp, this takes a lot of time. The control you have by having everything in one package is ideal, so you never lose sight of anything. In addition, I have the link with Mollie, which makes everything even more streamlined! This way, your lists are always up to date, so you can hardly make any mistakes.
Which functionality stands out the most for you and why?
I just really like TimeChimp as a company and tool! What strikes me most and what I would also tell others is that it is a lot of fun to work with. Because the backend is well built, you dare to try something out and the chat will help you in no time should you have any questions or doubts. So TimeChimp as a whole stands out.
How could TimeChimp help you/you even better?
A more extensive CRM corner would complete it. When we receive future customers, we can anticipate this. We would therefore know how many requests come in versus how many requests are actually being worked out. That is very interesting for us to know! If this were automated, all customer data would already be known and that saves typing.
How do you find the contact with TimeChimp?
If you need a registration program, there is a lot of choice. A lot of things look alike. The choice I made depended on the guidance. With the right back office/guidance and personal contact, you can make a difference in the digital world. At TimeChimp, I get help quickly. I like knowing who I'm being helped by, I know Stephanie and Hidde by name and can ask about them right away! If the problem cannot be fixed immediately, I will be kept up to date with the progress.
